Daisy

We have just found out that, the horrid growth Daisy ferret had round her nipple,; is actually an old abcess. This abcess has now calcified. !!! Vet speak. Anyways its not infected. Just weeping because she cant help catching it on things like the stairs etc. would be easier if she was a big hob instead of a tiny old girly. So we have a can of silver spray, and wound powder, to keep it clean and dry.
On the sad side, Daisy who is almost eleven years old, is ageing very fast. Her appitite is dropping and shes loosing weight. Shes very sleepy for most of the day, but always still eager to come out for half an hour first thing in the mornings. She cant manage longer than this.
Still shes a great age for a ferret isnt she!

She is a great age for a fuzzie, but we all get old & there is sadly nothing that can be done apart from loads of cuddles which I am sure she get's plenty of already bless her

Vet doesnt want to risk any surgery at her age now. She Could well fail to come out of an anesthetic he thinks. So as its not life threatening, shes keeping her lump. I must admit, the silver look on the belly is quiet sweet lol. Shes a classy old girl. !!
